Thanks to all the ladies who joined us for brunch on Saturday! We had a lot of fun at TAKOBA! If you aren’t “in the loop” for ladies brunch, let me know so I can change that for next month!
“The snatch, clean and jerk should be active movements from start to finish. There should never be a moment when things are simply happening; you have to make them happen at all times.”- Coach Greg Everett, Catalyst Athletics
Remember this as we enter our Clean cycle! We will work through max cleans, different positions of cleans, clean grip DL, front squats, and barbell cycling…get ready!
I also noticed that everyone has enjoyed working through benchmarks, so I am going to continue to integrate these into the programming. get ready to test your ability and continue to work hard, you’re doing great!
I wrote a blog for you to provide some insight on health & wellness & supplements, check it out here and let me know if you have any questions- I’m here to help! Please use the links in the blog for more details.
We are still working through WODIFY… thanks for your patience, it’s going to ROCK!
Now, here’s today’s WOD:
2 rounds w/ bar (try to keep bar entire round)
10 hang clean
10 hang squat clean
10 front squats
FIND MAX CLEAN!
* please try to SQUAT CLEAN, even if you’re more of a power clean person. You can start power cleaning once you have to, but please start with SQUATS! We need to get better about this lift.
“Annie” (one of my favorites!)
* IF YOU ARE WORKING ON YOUR DU, AND YOU CAN CONNECT 5-10, DO THEM TODAY! You won’t learn them unless you work them, so get after it!
